How do I download a font?
FontMarketplace.com makes is easy for you to download the font. For every item that you purchase there will be a download link on the order confirmation page. Additionally, the receipt that is automatically emailed to you will also have the links.

Fonts are provided in two forms:

Automatic Installer for Windows

Manual install for Windows/Macintosh/Linux/Other

Automatic Installer for Windows

The download file is a software program that will automatically copy the font into the Windows Fonts folder. Simply run the font install program, and follow the steps as shown on screen.

1. If you select the "Windows" font option the download file is an automatic software install program (.exe format). Simply click on the "Run" option when downloading the file using Internet Explorer. Click "Save File" then "Open" using FireFox.

2. You will see the FontMarketplace Font Setup Wizard. Follow the steps using the wizard.

3. After the font download / install program is finished, it will automatically copy the font into the Windows Fonts folder. That’s all there is to it. Once complete the font will appear in all your software applications.

Manual Font Install (Mac/Other)

The .zip file is a compressed package with the font software. You first need to uncompress the files before installation. Simply double-click on the .zip file to uncompress it. We recommend that you save the uncompressed file to your desktop. If this does not work you will need to get a free utility to unzip the files, such as WinZip or StuffitExpander.

NOTE: if you are a Windows user and want to manually install a font, simply select the "Mac/Other" format option when ordering your fonts.

Windows Vista and Windows XP
YOU MUST FIRST UNZIP/UNCOMPRESS THE DOWNLOAD FONT FILE BEFORE INSTALLING. Simply right-click on the file and select "Extract All". Then select Next twice and then Finish. If the icons on the fonts will change in the new uncompressed folder, then you were successful.

Right-Click on the font, select Install. This will open the Windows Font Installer and automatically copy the font into the Windows font folder.

Note: if you do not see the "Install" option when you right-click on the font it could be that the font file was not uncompressed.
