Fournier™ Small Caps is one of the most influential type designs of the eighteenth century, being among the earliest of the transitional style of typeface, and were a stepping stone to the more severe modern style made popular by Bodoni later in the century. This font has more vertical stress than the old style types, greater contrast between thick and thin strokes and little or no bracketing on the serifs.

Why a Small Caps font you may ask? While most word processing and page layout software offer a small cap feature - this merely distorts the letterforms and creates squashed, uneven results. Fournier Small Caps was designed so the weight of the small caps matches the upper case letters, providing a clean, attractive appearance. Character Set: Latin-1
