Courier New™ is based on a typewriter face originally drawn by Adrian Frutiger for the IBM™ Selectric series. A typical fixed pitch design, monotone in weight and slab serif in concept. Used to emulate typewriter output for reports, tabular work and technical documentation. Type Designer - Howard Kettler. Character Set - Latin-1, WGL Pan-European. Font Format - TrueType. This font includes an expanded character set that supports English, Western and Central European languages, including Baltic, Turkish, Greek and Cyrillic.
